HSE AdviserAre you a skilled Safety and Environment professional? Are you experienced in coaching, mentoring and leading to positively influence and improve the safety of work?Wagners is a globally recognised, publicly listed company who can offer secure long-term employment and future career advancement opportunities.Based in Brisbane, this role plays a vital function for the success of Wagners various operations by facilitating positive Health, Safety and Environmental outcomes.Duties will include:

• Influence positive health, safety, and environmental change in the workplace
• Develop strong working relationships to coach and motivate positive safety and environmental outcomes
• Assist with identification, development & delivery of mandatory training and competency requirements
• Provide advice, consultation, monitoring and governance for effective risk control and compliance
• Manage, monitor, and develop the relevant Management Systems
• Facilitate audits and inspections in accordance with legislative and Company requirements
• Maintain a sound knowledge of current legislation, policies, guidelines, and standards requirements
• Office and field work across multiple locations
• Travel to regional sites monthly – fly and/or drive

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role desirable
• Tertiary qualifications or Diploma of WHS minimum
• Extensive experience in managing Health, Safety and Environmental risks and compliance
• Proficiency working with QSE management systems & ISO standards
• Experience in operations involving heavy plant, vehicles, and equipment
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable
• Auditing Skills, ICAM desirable
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong capability using Microsoft office suite
