The opportunity
Join WSP and contribute to maintaining and continuously improving a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment by supporting our business stakeholders in implementing and monitoring HSE systems and processes.
This includes managing HSE administrative processes, effectively using a range of HSE tools and processes to implement HSE programs and drive improvement and to contribute to the implementation and monitoring of critical controls
Your new role
Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
Support the implementation of a systems approach to HSE including providing accurate and timely HSE advice
Support people and project managers, and workers on methods to foster and monitor a positive HSE culture
Support implementation and maintenance of routine HSE risk assessment, control and management processes in normal operations and emergencies
Support monitoring and measurement of HSE performance
Support processes and procedures to investigate, analyse, record and report on incidents and non-conformities indicating failures or inadequacies of controls
Implement processes for knowledge collection and management to enable positive HSE outcomes including collecting and keeping up-to-date relevant internal and external HSE information
Communicate, engage with and influence people and project managers, and workers to mitigate risk and optimise worker health and safety and environmental performance
Provide support for injury/illness and claims management
What we will love about you

Previous work experience within a similar industry and/or risk profile
Previous experience in a HSE role (desirable)

Qualifications (Minimum and Desirable)
Cert IV/Diploma in OH&S
RTW Co-ordinator
