Westforce Construction is seeking for HSE Coordinator to join our HSEQ team who have an interest in developing skills in Work Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality and other project related areas. The role will be based in our Head Office in Perth.
About the Role
Working closely with and supporting the HSEQ Team, you will be required to:
- Develop and manage procedures and ensure that appropriate systems are in place
- Assist with the company’s internal audit program in relation to HSE including reviewing audit reports and the closure of corrective actions.
- Ensuring compliance with current legislations and standards.
- Provide advice and guidance to the Project Management team on WHS legislation and company direction.
- Maintain and update Project Management Plans – SWMS, JSA, reporting, and KPI’s relating to projects risks.
- Assisting with Site Management and general Site Admin

We are looking for highly motivated and passionate candidates with a positive attitude towards Work Health and Safety, who suit a fast-paced and enthusiastic team environment. To fit the role, you will need to possess:
- A genuine enthusiasm around Work Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality;
- Basic knowledge of legislations, codes of practice and standards;
- Excellent skills in managing time, priority setting, planning, communication and organisation;
- Excellent written and verbal skills with an emphasis on writing and reporting;
- Strong attention to detail, ability to exercise initiative and be innovative in problem solving.
- Proficiency in working with computer software’s;
- Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work;
- Certificate IV WHS (minimum);
- Construction White Card.
