ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a HSE Delivery Manager – Projects, to join our growing team in our West Perth office. The successful candidate will provide strong team leadership driving workforce engagement, performance, productivity & alignment with Warrikal values & culture amongst the project teams and relevant contractors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively integrating and partnering with the Shutdown leadership team to assist in the development of high performing teams to deliver works safely.
- Lead or support development and review of works specific risk assessments, plans or bespoke strategies to meet operational requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities and development of the Shutdown HSE team.
- Prepare HSE related performance reports and present to stakeholders;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop improvement action plans.
- Professionally represent Warrikal in HSE matters.
- Regularly visit operational areas to evaluate HSE system implementation, provide coaching and mentoring and undertake operational related HSE activities including providing on site support in contingency situations.
- Build and mature effective client relationships.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve HSE matters.
- Provide feedback on Warrikal HSE system tools for continual improvement.
- Maintain oversight, review and assist in close out of HSE related performance issues.
- Assist with effectively and rapidly responding to serious events including travel to operational work areas.
- Lead significant event investigations and prepare and present associated reports as required.
- Maintain awareness of legislative, industry and client updates to ensure the Company and operational area remain compliant to requirements.
- Deliver on assigned actions within the assigned timeframe.
- Produce professional level documents and communications.
- Register and file all relevant documentation in accordance with Company approved procedures.
- Work collaboratively with personnel across all business units.
- Exemplify and encourage the core values of the business.
ABOUT YOU
- Technical Certificate/Tertiary Education Qualification, Degree or Diploma in Health and Safety Management (desirable) or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 15+ years’ experience in HSE Management.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and co-workers.

- Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Provide mentoring and identify avenues of professional development and succession planning for personnel within your business unit.
