Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, the Junior Advisor assists in the implementation and maintenance of CMI's Safety and Quality Program. They will be responsible for supporting the adherence to internal and external standards, contributing to the maintenance of product quality, and assisting in the management of safety and quality processes throughout CMI facilities
A team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and high attention to detail are essential. To be considered for this role you will have;
- Minimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety
- Internal Auditor training (Desirable)
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Capacity to multitask and prioritise
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite in particular Excel
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HSEQ policies, procedures, SOP, SWI and SWMS.
- Conduct routine HSEQ inspections and ensure compliance.
- Provide support to CMI team regarding routine HSEQ inspections and compliance monitoring.
- Assist in documenting HSEQ activities and internal audits
- Assist in managing document systems related to HSEQ
- Participate in incident reporting, investigation and hazard identification.
