Allworks is seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor to continue our positive health and safety culture. Based at our Wangara Head Office, the role will be responsible for our ongoing ISO Compliance and Safety Management System.
About the Role
- Manage the ongoing development and revision of the HSEQ Management System and ISO accreditation.
- Manage and assist with ensuring the HSEQ Management System practically supports the business operational needs, drives continuous improvement in performance and ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Manage the incident reporting and corrective/ preventative actions development including Return to Work programs.
- Assist with the planning and conduct of internal inspections and audits to ensure compliance with the HSEQ management system, contractual, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
- Assist with the development of HSEQ training for staff and subcontractors.
- Develop a strong working relationship with all stakeholders including employees, clients, contractors, suppliers and relevant authorities.
About You
- Relevant Work, Health, Safety and/or Environment qualifications.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to influence all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Strong computer skills across a wide variety of software applications.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant H&S accreditations, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, and AS/ISO standards.
- MRWA & NHVR Accreditation experience.
- Internal Auditor qualifications (Desirable).
- ICAM lead investigator (Desirable)
- Training and Assessing Qualifications (Desirable).
Day-to-day duties will include:
- Developing and implementing safety systems and processes
- Incident investigations & recommending improvements & controls
- Inspections & audits
- Safety culture analysis
- Conducting Risk Assessments
- Developing Job Hazard Risk Assessments
- Developing Safe Work Method Statements
- Conducting inspections & audits
- Providing safety technical advice and support
- Assisting with injury management
- Developing and monitoring safety initiatives, programs and workshops
- Undertake site visits to operational locations within WA as required.
