With continual growth and diversification, we are currently seeking for a HSEQ Advisor to join our environment business unit in Henderson, WA.
We are seeking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to provide site presence and assist with a range of site activities with the decommissioning of oil and gas structures, defence vessels or fishing vessels and dredging.
The HSEQ Advisor will provide advice on health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) inputs and outputs to the project teams on various projects and locations. The HSEQ Advisor will also be responsible for managing the HSEQ systems.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist in the management of the HSEQ Management systems
- Maintain Site safety documentation and systems
- Facilitate pre starts and daily tool box meetings
- Risk assessment control monitoring, Permit to work review
- Site subcontractor management
- Lead incident reporting and investigation on site.
- Lead HSEQ related training on site
- HSEQ communication, consultation and coaching to employees
- Driving a culture of safe work, environmental sustainability, and quality workmanship
- The primary work location is Henderson in WA, and travel to various project and other sites within Australia on a regular basis will be required
Essential:
- Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety
- Demolition experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft programs and Rapid Global & Safety Culture
- Strong commitment to WHS principles
- First Aid Certificate
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety
- MSIC card
- Oil and gas industry experience
- Working Safely at Heights
- Confined Space Entry and Stand-By Person
- Training and assessment qualification
- Basic demolition training
