HSEQ Advisor

Join our dynamic family business and make your mark on our HSQE system! Lead the charge in fostering a positive health and safety culture with Jolly & Sons. We're seeking a proactive Risk and Compliance Advisor to bolster our team at the Kewdale office in Perth.

In this role, every day brings new challenges. The successful candidate will oversee certification management, conduct audits, and review policies, ensuring our operations align with the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising safety protocols and conducting on-site audits
• Collaborating with staff and subcontractors to address issues and incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Documenting and investigating incidents, coordinating corrective and preventive measures, and maintaining detailed records
• Performing health and safety inspections using standardized checklists, recording findings, and ensuring prompt resolution of any identified issues
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by seeking opportunities to enhance work practices
• Establishing and maintaining ISO-compliant environments across all HSQE domains
• Managing company insurance policies and taking a proactive approach to injury management
• Collaborating with management to develop tailored quality plans and control documents for specific projects
• Ensuring staff compliance with relevant occupational health and safety legislation and regulations
• Upholding compliance with environmental protection laws and regulations

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
• Proven HSEQ experience in transport or logistics industry or a similar role
• Sound knowledge of State Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
• Proven experience in the maintenance and improvement of a Certified ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 or 22000 Management Systems.
• Experience with injury management and workers compensation.
• A ‘Lead Management System Auditor’ (desirable)
• MRWA & NHVR Accreditation experience (desirable)
• ICAM certification or certificate (desirable)
