Join Our Team: HSEQ Advisor Position Available
Location: Brisbane, QLD with regular visits to NSW and QLD sites
Role Overview:
Lucas Drilling seeks a proactive and HSEQ Advisor for a full-time, permanent position. Join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) performance across Queensland and New South Wales operations. Reporting directly to the HSEQ Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing HSE initiatives, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the development of project start-up documentation, including HSE and quality plans.
- Lead proactive site audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Manage HSE software efficiently.
- Compile, analyse and report on HSEQ data, driving informed decision-making.
- Chair and guide weekly safety meetings, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
- Strengthen customer relations by addressing HSEQ matters effectively.
- Lead investigations into incidents, promoting learning and preventive measures.
- Oversee the maintenance of the safety & quality management system and conduct audits.
We Are Looking For:
- A passionate professional with a Diploma in Health and Safety or a closely related field. Additional HSE certifications or qualifications are highly regarded.
Experience: 3-5 years in mining, drilling or surface operations preferred. We value depth of experience combined with a willingness to engage in continuous learning.
- Diploma in health and Safety is preferred.
- Certified in quality management systems and auditing; workplace trainer/assessor qualifications preferred.
- Expertise in ICAM or similar incident investigation methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders across diverse locations and projects.
