Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAre you ready to elevate your career and make an impact? We're seeking a passionate HSEQ Advisor to join our innovative team! As a key player, you'll have the chance to dive into exciting projects, collaborate with a dynamic group of professionals, and make a real difference.Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will aim to contribute to the maintenance of a safe work environment, by effectively using a range of HSE tools and processes to implement HSEQ programs; and drive HSEQ compliance and a positive HSEQ culture.

• Develop and communicate HSEQ Strategic and Tactical Plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Coach and support workplace teams to foster a positive HSEQ culture.
• Train Operations teams on HSE tools like Take 5, CRAs/CRIs, JSAs, and Permit to Work.
• Provide guidance on HSEQ program compliance and the importance of prompt reporting of hazards/incidents.
• Participate in hazard identification, workplace inspections, Job Safety Analysis, and Critical Risk Management.
• Collaborate with Operations to develop and review HSEQ procedures, and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Facilitate incident and emergency response, lead critical incident investigations, generate HSE Alerts and Learnings, and engage with HSRs, HSEQ committees, supervisors, and managers to address HSEQ matters.

Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years practical HSE experience with a dedicate focus on practical outcome and quality control.
• A true passion for quality assurance and control in the workspace, with an understanding on how it affects the day to day operations and performance of workers.
• Experience in Transport & Logistics or similar industry - highly desired
• Tertiary HSE qualification (e.g. OSH Diploma/Advanced Diploma (VET))
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility
