Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Human Resource function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of Human Resource best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Human Resource policies and procedures
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection
- Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Develop and implement performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans
- Coordinate and deliver training and development programs for employees
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on Human Resource issues
- Understand MA000100 SCHADS Award
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Human Resource information systems (Employment Hero)
