We are looking for a suitably qualified Human Resources Advisorto join the team. You will be responsible for leading as a trusted advisor, supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of employee life cycle and people initiatives. This role partners with leaders to understand operational needs, barriers and people related issues to create tailored strategies and interventions, unlocking potential and creating value.
The successful applicant will have:
- Highly developed analytical, conceptual, and reasoning skills with the ability to interpret employment legislation, awards, and agreements, provide accurate advice across the organisation, identify options, make recommendations, and support managers with HR issues.
- Strong consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills with a service-oriented focus and experience working as part of a team to achieve organisational goals.
- High level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to demonstrate a high standard of ethical behaviour, persuade, influence, consult, liaise, engage stakeholders, negotiate, and explain complex information to non-specialists.
- Proven experience of policy development and implementation including research, consultation, effective policy writing skills, and a clear understanding of the policy development process.
- Experience in recruitment and selection processes and establishment management including job design, job analysis, developing Position Description documents, evaluating Position Descriptions, and managing contractual requirements.
Qualifications required:
- Degree qualification in Human Resources or a related field with significant knowledge and 5+ years of experience in contemporary human resource management practices with the ability to use this knowledge and expertise to provide support to employees and managers.
Position Hours: Part-time, 60 hours fortnight.
Salary range: $89,396.98 to $100,614.24 pro rata plus superannuation
