We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to take on this rewarding opportunity in our Brisbane office on a full-time basis. 

About The Role

The primary functions of this role will see you:

• Collaborate with General Managers and Office / Operation Managers on HR matters.
• Advise on employee relations, performance, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Work Act and the BFI Award.
• Support systems for the BFI Award and maintain positive workplace culture.
• Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
• Conduct quarterly Employee Engagement Surveys.
• Develop and review EVP in line with strategic goals.
• Prepare and analyse HR metrics for reporting.
• Maintain HR records and databases.
• Contribute to and lead strategic HR projects.
• Manage cyclical activities such as engagement surveys, performance reviews, remuneration reviews, talent management, annual reporting, and development 
•  Contribute to recruitment and retention goals in line with workforce planning initiatives.

About You

Working as part of a team, the right candidate must display the following attributes:

• 3 - 5 years experience in a HR generalist or HR administrative position. 
• Tertiary Qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resources.
• Strong verbal and written communication 
• Knowledge and experience in the implementation of Australia labor laws and regulations.
• Ability to provide sounds HR guidance and advice to business leaders and guide employees through HR matters.  
• Proven experience in developing strategies to enhance employee engagement.  
• Proficiency in recruitment and selection functions within a business.  
• Ability to adhere to privacy legislation and ensure confidentially and ethic conduct when dealing with employee information and grievances.  
• Effectively manage time and priorities to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.  
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ability to prepare and analyse data for HR metric reporting on a monthly and ad hoc basis, including board report presentations.
• Able to confidently prepare all HR documentation including employment contracts, letters, and other HR documents and correspondence. 
• Trustworthy, respectful and ethical in all HR practices and undertakings.
