Our business is diverse with manufacturing sites, warehousing, sales and a merchandising team.
We are excited to announce we are seeking a part-time HR Advisor (2-days per week) to join our team and support our workforce. The HR Advisor will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and values. This position reports directly to the Directors.
Key Requirements
- Proving 3 plus years experience in Human Resources preferably manufacturing environment (non essential but an advantage)
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
- Sound understanding of Fair Work and Industrial Relations laws
- The ability to handle confidential information and conflict with discretion
About you:
You will have a high level of time management skills and the ability to communicate with our multi cultural employees at differing levels
You will be experienced in:-
- Serving as a trusted advisor to employees, managers and senior management, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Addressing employee relations & performance management issues and facilitate conflict resolution as an when required.
- Working with the Union and Employees on Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and negotiating a fair outcome for all parties.
- HR Policies & Administration by working alongside our Payroll Department in maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation, update & maintain the Employe Handbook and manage all HR Policies
- Manage the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding for all sites
- Overseeing the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies
- Managing Work Cover claims, return to work plans and effective communication with all team leaders, managers and management
- Coordinating Apprenticeship Enrolements for employees and liaising with both apprenticeship board and Tafe
