Human Resources Assistant

About the job The Opportunity:We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Assistant to join one of our client’s HR teams on a contractual basis during a period of exciting transformation. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in capturing and documenting the impact of two key initiatives:

• HRIS System Changeover: We are transitioning to a new HRIS system and require your expertise to map current processes, identify necessary adjustments, and develop clear work instructions for the HR team.
• Managed Payroll Implementation: As we outsource our payroll to a managed service provider, you will be responsible for analysing the impact on HR workflows, streamlining processes, and ensuring a smooth handover.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing HR processes through mapping and data collection.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop efficient, streamlined workflows.
• Document new processes with clear and concise work instructions for the HR team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand and address their process-related needs.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process changes.
• Identify opportunities for broader business process improvement across the organization.

Your Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Six Sigma).
• Proven ability to map, analyse, and document complex business processes.
• Experience with developing and implementing clear and concise work instructions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
