An exciting opportunity has become available for a Human Resources Business Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Division of the Department for Energy and Mining.

If you are responsive in a fast-paced environment, experienced in providing a high-level advisory and consultancy service to senior management and staff on a range of human resource and employee relations matters predominately in our Regulation and Compliance Division and Office for Hydrogen Power SA, we’d love to hear from you.
Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will be critically important in enabling you to build trust and successfully engage at all levels across the organisation.
You will have strong understanding of policies relating to HR, application and interpretation of legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, other industrial instruments and experience in the use of human capital management systems.
Key Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrated experience in providing an effective customer contact and quality client-focused service, including dealing discretely with confidential matters, demonstrate integrity and apply diplomatic skills to sensitive and high-level personnel and management issues.
- Sound knowledge of and experience in the application and interpretation of legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, other industrial instruments, and policies relating to HR.
- Demonstrated ability to use human capital management systems (for example CHRIS21, workforce reporting tool PowerBI) and perform HR data analysis.
- Proven ability in prioritizing competing demands to deliver own work requirements, collaborate with and support others, and contribute to team and broader organisation outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or Human Resource Management
ASO5, $84,522 - $94,003 per annum
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week
