- Provides employee development expertise; implements learning and development programs at the local level.
- Coaches managers and leaders on human resource and professional development issues.
- Ensures compliance with key government legislated requirements and adherence to human resource policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement company-wide HR strategies that are aimed at achieving a high level of employee engagement and encourage direct employee relations.
- Manages the employee relations issues.
- Directs the performance management process with the goal of providing an equitable process and result.
- Consults with managers on all areas of Human Resources programs, including compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee and labor relations, and performance management.
- Evaluates key performance indicators to drive functional and business performance improvements related to human resource investments.
- Manages the HR monthly reporting.
- Develops and presents improvement opportunities to senior management; implements approved changes.
- Directs the administration of workers' compensation program and engages the insurance carrier to reduce employee lost time.
- Assists with company's workplace drug and alcohol program.
- Drives and contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
- Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
