We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner with a focus on case management to join a Queensland State Government department in the Brisbane CBD on an initial contract basis with the potential for extension. In this role, you will work closely with the leadership team, providing strategic HR support and contributing to the overall direction of the department. This position offers the opportunity to influence HR practices and drive initiatives that enhance workforce engagement and effectiveness.
About the role:
- Provide expert HR guidance and support to the leadership team, focusing on case management.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, performance, and overall workplace effectiveness.
- Partner with department leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Initial contract based in Brisbane CBD, with the potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs.
Skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or in a similar HR role with a focus on case management.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR practices within the public sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
