SalaryTo partner with the Commercial Operations Team and Queensland Farm Operations providing effective Human Resources advice, guidance and support. To support the development and implementation of the HR Strategic Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support human resource outcomes for the commercial operations team and Queensland Farm operations across the areas of talent acquisition, employee and industrial relations, leadership development, retention, talent development, labour planning, workforce engagement and onboarding to achieve operational plans.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Human Resources strategic initiatives.
• Provide support to managers on award interpretation and legislation as required.
• Manage internal employee/worker grievance and performance issues as required in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
• Development and analysis of HR metrics.
• Coordinate the Return to Work (RTW) with the Workplace, Health and Safety team.
• Contribute to the development of Group-wide policies and procedures and the local initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of communication and engagement initiatives.
• Foster and promote a culture of workplace safety, quality and positive employee engagement to facilitate compliance with the Company policies, applicable legislation and to maximise employee effort and outcomes
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Human resources, industrial relations or equivalent
• Experience as a Human resources practitioner in manufacturing/FMCG/Operations environment or a related industry
• Experience with the application of employment legislation and industrial awards
• Working knowledge of HR systems is essential. Ability to support system implementation is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to successfully communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders across a broad socio-economic group and different cultures.
• Demonstrated written, analytical and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with local managers as a member of the local management team.
• Capacity to participate as a member of the Group HR team and contribute to the development of strategic initiatives.
• Experience in the fresh produce sector/horticulture would be highly regarded.
• Champion ethical business practices and Company policies.
