The opportunity
The Human Resources Business Partner aligns HR strategies and initiatives with the overall business goals and objectives of the organisation. This includes providing strategic HR support and guidance to leaders, driving employee engagement and retention, managing talent acquisition and development, and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and proactively managing workforce related risks. The Human Resource Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping to foster a positive and productive work environment that enables the organisation to achieve its goals and objectives.
The position
The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for, among other things:
• Support and advise people leaders to develop their and their team's capability in relation to people management practices.
• In conjunction with P&C colleagues, ensure that the organisation’s industrial relations framework comprising of all relevant employment and industrial legislation, awards, agreements and regulations relevant to ReturnToWorkSA (particularly within the state based IR system) is embedded and maintained.
• Partner with leaders to design, review, and evaluate positions using Mercer job evaluation methodology.
• Participate in reviews of policy, procedure and business processes to ensure best practice, continuous improvement, effective risk management and legislative compliance.
This role will be a full-time fixed term contract for 2 years.

You will contribute to a team culture of care, professional excellence and accountability with a willingness to focus on achieving excellent customer outcomes. You possess excellent communication skills and can build trusting relationships and develop a quick rapport with a variety of stakeholders.

The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $107,842 (exclusive of superannuation).
