The role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator to join the National People & Development team in our Perth office. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to develop your Human Resources career in a dynamic and collaborative team. As a valued member of the HR Operations team, this role will encompass all core aspects of HR Administration and Coordination as well as working closely with our Early Talent Advisor in managing and delivering our Perth Summer Clerk and Graduate programs in addition to the below responsibilities:
Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality administrative support to the HR Manager including coordinating various HR processes and procedures
  • Responsibility for the Perth Summer Clerk and Graduate programmes
  • Attending careers fairs and university events on campus
  • Preparing new starter employment documentation
  • Preparing induction timetables and induction packs for new starters, in addition to facilitating the welcome session for all new starters
  • Assisting on national P&D projects where required
  • Assisting with compliance of Workplace Health and Safety legislation and facilitating the quarterly Safety Action Team meetings
  • Coordinating the annual practising certificate renewal process
Requirements
  • Prior HR administration/coordinator experience gained ideally within a legal or professional services firm or a leading corporate environment.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a professional services environment
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or currently completing relevant HR qualification
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, advanced Word and Excel skills highly desirable
