About the Role
This is a fulltime, two years, fixed term role. We are seeking an experienced multi-skilled individual who enjoys working across multiple systems in a young and busy organisation. With ongoing growing opportunities, expansion of the business, and new participants, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dynamic, fast and stand-out candidate to join our team.
This is a well-balanced role within a great team environment based in Perth. You will be a critical link in a high-paced and demanding environment, to connect our participants with our dedicated support workers, who provide exceptional support services and quality care to a variety of customers. You’ll work alongside colleagues who have extensive industry experience and are well-rounded. With a highly responsive and supportive management, dedicated to your development and success in the role, you will not only excel but also add value to our participants and staff.
As a disability services provider with facilities in Perth, Newman and Port Hedland, Keen to Care Australia (KTCA) will provide you with growth opportunities through training and adequate remuneration.
You are expected to be resilient, fast, with a sound understanding and compassion for the importance of supporting people with disabilities. Ideally, you would be passionate, friendly, professional, engaging and caring to successfully schedule support services for our NDIS participants.
If you have a bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum experience of five years in People and Culture management, you would be an ideal candidate to join KTCA!
Your Role:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that drives organisational growth and sustainability.
- Oversea seamless onboarding process and candidate screenings.
- Conducting inductions and/or onboarding of new staff and manages performance evaluations.
- Manage employee relations, including grievances, terminations, demands, and conflicts.
- Support and advise to line manager on people management issues covering legal, compliance and employee wellbeing.
- Ensure employees comply with the NDIS Practice Standards and company Policies.
- Ensure all policies and compliances are current.
Skills and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field is preferred, as is a minimum of five years of experience in People and Culture management, preferably in the community services sector (ideally in OOHC or NDIS).
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with an ability for problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environment.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Publisher).
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- High levels of interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and genuine care for team members, clients and carers.
- Ability to take initiative, make decisions and contribute to a positive team environment
- Commitment to a delivering an outstanding service and customer experience.
- Current Driver’s License
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred, showcasing your commitment to professional excellence.
Desirable Skills
- A working knowledge of the disability sector, including but not limited to the NDIS
