About the Role
Providing generalist, customer-focused, practical and timely HR advice to the Host Employer management team, you will have a focus on fostering a partnership with the Host Employers’ management team to support performance management and development of all staff. Supported by the Talent Acquisition Consultant, this role is responsible for the operational delivery and workforce planning across the Host Employer site, in line with contractual obligations and all relevant Awards and legislation.
Additionally, you will guide the processes and support managers and team leaders through disputes, grievances and disciplinary processes, including investigations and disciplinary outcomes, providing appropriate guidance and escalating as necessary.
This role requires a forward thinker, with a pragmatic approach and someone who has strong communication skills, maintaining ethical and transparent working relationships with both the Host Employer and Maxima.
This is a fixed-term (to 28/02/2025), part-time (22.8 hours per week) role and will be required to work across both the Host Employers’ site in Campbelltown and Maxima Head Office in Hindmarsh. There may be flexibility to work from home from time-to-time.
Skills & Experience
You will pride yourself on your communication skills as well as your ability to respond to and triage HR, IR and WHS issues and providing accurate, timely advice. You will have;
- Bachelor of Human Resources Management or equivalent (desirable)
- Well-developed knowledge of, and experience in the application of contemporary HR procedures and practices
- Proven ability to interpret legislation, regulations, awards, industrial agreements together with policies and procedures
- Experience with, or knowledge of the complexities of a labour-hire arrangement/casual employment (desirable)
- Experience in maintaining a consistently high standard of customer service
- Solid administrative and computer skills
- Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Current Police clearance and Working With Children check or willing to obtain
