HAYS are excited to partner with this incredible QLD Government owned organisation responsible for delivering quality bulk water to the city of Mount Isa and its industrial customers. We are seeking a Human Resources Lead to join the supportive and collaborative Senior Leadership Team, on a permanent full-time basis in Mount Isa, QLD.
Your new role
Your new role will see you deliver strategic, operational, and technical Human Resources advice and services to enhance organisational resilience, promote strategic workforce management, and contribute to a high – performance culture.
You will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality advice and services across the end to end employee lifecycle and be the first point of contact for HR matters across front-line employees and direct line managers. The role will have excellent exposure across the Executive Leadership Team, and will be uniquely placed to partner with managers and leaders to support the organisation’s leadership, development and performance initiatives.
This position will see you directly manage one direct report, and you will be uniquely placed to partner with leaders to coach and improve leadership and management practices.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar.
- Minimum of five years demonstrated HR experience, gained within a transactional and/or generalist human resource role.
- Demonstrated capability applying general and strategic Human Resources management practices across the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
- Previous system implementation experience
- A very high EQ and an ability to contribute to building the organisation’s Human Resources framework.
- Willingness to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check
- Confirmation of Australian Working Entitlements (citizenship or permanent resident status only.)
