The Role
The HR Manager position is offered as a fulltime permanent role on site at our Head Office and Factory units located in Bayswater North. The role will report to the General Manager and will manage the HR function within Accent. Support the effective implementation of OH&S processes across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all HR functions.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation.
- Managing the full employee lifecycle from job design to off boarding.
- To assist in workforce planning.
- Verify employee rights to work in Australia.
- Conduct new employee induction/orientation.
- Identifying training needs (TNA).
- Designing and delivering in-house training.
- Arranging third-party training delivery.
- Submit WorkCover claims if required.
- Work with employees and other agencies on return-to-work plans.
- Provide information for payroll (outsourced).
- To support the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and processes.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required
- Knowledge of employment legislation and requirements.
- Knowledge of OHS legislation and requirements.
- Experience managing the HR function within a medium sized company
- Experience in processing WorkCover claims and return to work plans
- Ability to prioritise work and multitask.
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills (Microsoft).
- Ability to motivate, engage and manage staff.
- Great communication skills.
- A systematic and organised approach to working.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Human Resource Management ideally at Post-Graduate level but a degree or diploma with extensive experience would also be considered.
