Your new role
As an HR Manager you will be leading the Australian people strategy and supporting the development of an enhanced local HR function, with the support of the global team. You will be managing an HR Advisor and looking after all the aspects within HR, including:
- Implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the company's vision and values
- Managing the full cycle of recruitment, from sourcing to hiring, for various positions across the company
- Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR issues, such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and career development
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, such as health and safety, workers' compensation, and equal opportunity
- Coordinating and facilitating training and development programs for employees at all levels
- Preparing and analysing HR reports and metrics, and recommending improvements as needed
What you'll need to succeed
Your experience in a similar role will lead you to success, as well as:
- A tertiary degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a blue-collar sector
- Experience working in an international or matrix structure is preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
- A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
