We are looking for someone with a robust background in HR with a minimum of 2 years of experience in HR management as outlined in the requirements below.  Your role will involve developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with our organizational objectives.  We are open to part-time/full-time hours.

The role:

  • Supervise the payroll department to ensure payments are processed correctly. 
  • Oversee the training and development of new hires and existing team members.
  • Handle all employee relations matters including contract management, complex award interpretation, client coordination, performance management, and dispute resolution.
  • Documenting rules, regulations, policies, and procedures companywide.
  • Oversee new systems implementation & implement systems for monitoring productivity.
  • Support employee health and safety by assessing potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with current and future legislation changes, keeping the team informed and maintaining adherence across the business.

The ideal candidate:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field/discipline.
  • Proven knowledge of Industrial Relations, including the Fair Work Action and related employment law regulations.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply multiple Awards and/or other industrial agreements, providing advice to management and employees.
  • Strong systems knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, reporting, Payroll).
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Have excellent organizational skills and able to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational management skills with the ability to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders of all levels.
