About the Human Resources Business Partnering (HR BP) Team:
The Human Resources Business Partnering Team plays both an operational and strategic role partnering with people leaders at UNSW in order to enable them to achieve their people strategy and helping to contribute to the meaningful work we do at UNSW. Each Faculty or Division of the University has a HR dedicated HR BP team led by an HR Business Partner and including HR Consultants and HR Officers.
Why Your Role Matters:
The HR Officer provides HR administrative and advisory support to the faculties and divisions of the University. You will be responsible for a variety of HR operational tasks throughout the employee lifecycle and have the opportunity to be part of exciting HR projects and initiatives. Under the guidance of the HR Business Partner, this is a great opportunity to develop your HR career in a large and supportive organisation, where development and growth is strongly encouraged. Other responsibilities include:
Providing broad HR administrative support in a timely manner
Acting as the first point of contact for general HR queries
Building strong and effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
Updating data on the HRIS as required and ensure HR Resources are up-to-date
Providing timely HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
Interpretation, implementation of the University’s HR policies and procedures
Who You Are:
A relevant degree with previous experience in an HR administration role
Excellent stakeholder management with a strong customer service focus
Proven ability in multitasking and managing different priorities
A positive attitude, proactive and problem-solving mindset
Knowledge of relevant legislation, HR practices and processes
High attention to detail to accurately draft and prepare HR related documentation
