This opportunity is for a HR Generalist that can work in a fast paced environment and is capable of building strong working relationships across all levels of our organisation and supporting all aspects of the employee life-cycle.

The Human Resources Officer will promote the alignment of HR practices with the Values and principles that define our organisation's culture.

About the role:
You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the employee life-cycle, including but not limited to:
- Employee relations support to operational leaders including grievance, complaints, and workplace investigations.
- Partner with the managers and leaders in providing HR guidance, support and advice.
- Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) support- including by not limited to management of Workers Compensation claims and Return to Work Coordination (training provided, where required)
- Lead the development and management of our Learning Management System (training provided, where required)
- Serve as a point of contact for employee related inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Work with the internal Accounts Team and Human Resources Manager to ensure timely and accurate payment of wages (payroll training provided, where required)
- Support recruitment processes where required- conducting pre screens interviews and referee checking
- Monthly reporting on areas of responsibility and other HR administrative tasks, as required.
- Working collaboratively within the HR team so as to provide a seamless employee experience.
This role will work with stakeholders across NSW and may require minimal travel.
About You
- Cert IV or Diploma in Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in the child protection or disability sector
- Builds rapport with people and has strong interpersonal skills
- Operate as a resilient and collaborative team member
- Knowledge and understanding of the SCHADS award would be highly desirable
- Willingness to undertake and have verified a WWCC and National Police Check
