At Mansfield Autism we work alongside families to instil understanding, confidence and determination to create the best possible outcomes for people with autism and their families.
We offer a wide range of services for individuals and families living with autism. Our services have been designed as a ‘wrap around’ model – each service complements and enhances the quality of care we provide our clients.
Mansfield Autism is undergoing a $50m expansion on a 100 acre farm on the outskirts of Mansfield. It will be home to new facilities and expanded services and programs, so that we can support more families.
Job Description:
With the expansion comes an increase in employment opportunities across the entire organisation and an increased demand on the internal Human Resources function. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team. The Human Resources Officer will play a key role in the employment lifecycle, supporting our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding and induction programs.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with performance management processes, including performance appraisals and employee development plans.
- Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
- Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and compliance topics.
- Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources roles.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
