THE ROLE:
Reporting directly to the CEO, we are actively searching for an accomplished leader to guide our People and Culture initiatives. This pivotal role offers flexibility to be based in any of our Australia offices, with the option for remote work and occasional travel. It presents an exciting opportunity to lead and influence our ongoing expansion throughout Australia and New Zealand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values.
- Coordinate with the Vice President of HR - US team to maintain uniformity in policies and procedures.
- Coach and guide our leadership team to ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives across all locations.
- Supervise national performance management processes, employee development programs, and talent planning initiatives.
- Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of engagement efforts, utilizing insights to shape future strategies and reporting results to the Executive team.
- Lead projects such as updating employee handbooks, policies, and employment contracts to comply with current local laws and regulations.
- Support the integration of future acquisitions by engaging new employees and facilitating their transition into our organization.
- Analyze trends from employee opinion surveys and collaborate with stakeholders to develop actionable plans.
- Manage payroll processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective controls.
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations.
- Implement data privacy and security protocols in HR operations.
- Strategically plan workforce requirements to ensure timely recruitment and alignment with business objectives.
- Handle national employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and compliance with local labour laws.
- Collaborate with senior executives to design and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs that support the company's global growth strategy.
- Monitor key HR metrics and analytics to assess program effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
- Stay updated on national HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to maintain compliance and competitive edge in the global market.
- Mentor the HR team to embody the company's values and foster a culture of personal commitment.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related discipline.
- 5+ of experience in a Senior HR Management role, providing comprehensive support to senior leadership teams in a generalist capacity.
- Demonstrated proficiency in addressing intricate business, personnel, and cultural challenges, showcasing critical thinking and adaptive responses.
- Extensive experience in collaboratively designing and executing people strategies, encompassing organizational and job design, change management, compensation, employee relations, and employee value proposition including succession planning
- Highly effective, engaging, and collaborative leadership and management approach.
- Capability to work autonomously and exert influence across all levels.
- Agile and adaptable work style in response to shifting timelines and priorities.
