Join our dynamic IT Service Desk team as a Level 2-3 IT Support Officer for an immediate start to be based in Southwest Qld in either Dalby or Toowoomba and there is an opportunity for the position to be based in Brisbane too. This unique hybrid role requires a positive attitude, exceptional customer service skills and proven desktop support experience. Your primary responsibility will be on the Service Desk, providing comprehensive IT support to our dealerships throughout Brisbane and greater Queensland. This includes phone and remote desktop assistance. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to perform Field Support duties as required.

About the role:

As an IT Support Officer, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive desktop support to our Dealerships across Queensland over the phone and by using remote desktop support systems and provide onsite support as required.
  • Handle inbound calls and tickets, triaging to appropriate teams and coordinating with our Field Support team for seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain user security systems – Active Directory and Office 365.
  • Play a key role in projects and site communications upgrades/replacements.
  • Manage the storeroom and assist field technicians with device setup.
  • Create, maintain, and revise documentation within the IS National Documentation System.
  • Provide constructive feedback on processes and procedures.

Education / Qualifications

  • Have a Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • Industry Certifications such as Aruba, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS would be advantageous.
  • A valid Driver’s License.

  • A robust understanding of Windows, Windows Server, VMWare, Office 365, Azure, Mitel, and ticketing systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Strong problem diagnosis and solving skills.
  • The ability and willingness to travel across the regional portfolio.
  • The flexibility to work long hours as required, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • A preference for and ability to thrive in a team environment.

Please note that this role requires availability to travel throughout remote Queensland. The successful candidate must also be available to work nights and weekends as required, including Saturdays as part of a rotating roster.
