Occuhealth is a fully comprehensive occupational health and hygiene consultancy that has been operating throughout Western Australia for 25 years. Occuhealth specialises in occupational hygiene, respiratory and ear plug fit testing, health surveillance and forensic testing services.
The Role
We are currently seeking a full time Hygiene Projects Manager to join our vibrant team. The successful applicant will have a current working knowledge of Occupational Hygiene, and strong project management and leadership skills. They will uphold the high customer service values of the organisation, act with integrity whilst exceeding client expectations and supporting and mentoring staff.
The incumbent will receive enquiries from existing clients, whilst maximising opportunities to secure new clients, scope the work (whether it be a small one-off project, ongoing complex project, or contract works), prepare quotes, arrange resourcing and review reports to deliver a high quality final project to the client in a timely manner. They will train, mentor and support development of technicians and be an active member of the Management Team, driving excellence, innovation and business growth.
The successful candidate will work closely with one other Hygiene Projects Manager (based in Mandurah) to meet targets and outcomes. To successfully deliver this role, the applicant will require:
• Substantial occupational hygiene experience and industry knowledge
• Ability to multitask, manage and prioritise a variety of concurrent projects to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; along with customer service skills and experience delivering projects to clients
• Solid business acumen and can identify growth and business opportunities
• Strong problem solving and organisational skills with effective decision-making
• Experience contributing to strategic and operational objectives and financial targets
• Be approachable, open to change, and willing to hold “honest conversations” and provide feedback
• Lead the team firmly with kindness and empathy, whilst being fair and equitable.
This role is ideally based in our Mandurah office, however with an office in Belmont, a hybrid working arrangement could be considered for the right applicant.
