We currently have an exciting opportunity to work within our Corporate Services team to lead best practice and the continuous improvement of Guide Dogs SA/NT’s ICT, Infrastructure and Facilities services.

About the role
The ICT & Facilities Manager is responsible for leadership and operational management of the ICT and Team and Guide Dogs SA/NT’s data, communications, infrastructure and core business applications.
Through continuous improvement and partnering with key stakeholders across all areas of the business the role’s objective is to lead best practice, effective, efficient, responsive and collaborative support services that enable the business to meet identified needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead best practice with effective, efficient, responsive and collaborative support services that enable our service delivery teams to meet client needs.
- Actively support the Chief Financial Officer providing technical and strategic advice and support for new initiatives being considered by the organisation.
- Support organisational change through the implementation of infrastructure projects and initiatives.
- Prepare the IT and Infrastructure operational budget; prepare the annual budget, develop budget forecasts, trends and future projections and manage income and expenditure to ensure targets are met.
- Provide a comprehensive support solution for, maintenance of, and upgrades to; ICT systems, business applications, servers, IP-Telephony, network infrastructure, buildings and fleet vehicles.
- Engage and manage the deliverables of specialist external service providers that are required when solutions are outside the scope of internal staff competencies.
- Manage and maintain building security, network and cloud application security, backup/recovery systems and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Provide a comprehensive support solution for the maintenance and upgrades to buildings, fit outs, utilities and fleet vehicles.
About you
You’re an experienced and collaborative professional with the following attributes:
- Proven experience in the role of ICT Manager (or similar), with demonstrated experience in providing effective solutions to support business growth/change and managing an ICT network and infrastructure in its entirety.
- Expertise and experience in planning, organising, implementing and evaluating strategic objectives and the associated solutions across the business.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding/experience of data and information management.
A current Driver’s License and NDIS/NPC/WWCC clearances will be required.
