The Role
Reporting to the Coordinator Transport Operations, the purpose of this role is to coordinate and administer the restoration of Council’s Road reserve assets to agreed specifications and within agreed timelines in a safe, cost effective and environmentally sustainable manner.
About You
You will have effective interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to engage your team and relevant stakeholders, you will have proven experience supervising and motivating staff and will have sound knowledge of restoration processes, public utility procedures and road pavement rehabilitation practices.
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent competencies gained through experience
- 5+ years experience in a civil construction or maintenance environment
- Sound knowledge of restoration processes, public utility procedures and road pavement rehabilitation practices
- Demonstrated experience in work management systems and work prioritisation
- Ability to determine project requirements, interpret plans and execute works
- Workcover WHS General Construction Induction in NSW (White Card)
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Valid Class C Licence
