The service provider is looking to fill a full-time permanent and an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join the growing team. This is a full time, ongoing position for immediate start and this is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a fast-paced, dynamic and innovative environment for a leading-edge company.
The role will work very closely with stakeholders to take down requirements and map out current and future states etc. You will be responsible for the analysis, evaluation and documenting of business systems and processes with a focus on business needs and customer experience.
The role will report to the Director and will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying alternative solutions, assessing feasibility and recommending new approaches.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least three (3) years of work experience as an ICT Business Analyst
- Bachelor qualification (or above) in a relevant information technology field (such as business analysis, business information systems or computer science)
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functionality and formulating output requirements, gathering vital information, developing support procedures and strategies
- Assess the current technology systems used by the business, looking for areas of inefficiency or opportunities for improvement
- Analyse and consolidate information to develop business cases to support achievement of business objectives
- Solve problems and provide technical expertise and direction in support of system infrastructure and process improvements, diagnosing and resolving complex customer system issues
- Recommend technology solutions that would streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
- Establish a common approach to manage key project stakeholder escalations to achieve project milestones and agreed project budget
- Work with the staff to implement and train them on the new systems
- Design and document functional and technical requirements and help scope projects by understanding timelines and work
- Facilitate the design of technology solutions by analysing requirements and writing functional specifications
- Develop an agreed work plan of key performance indicators and outcomes
- continue to monitor the technology systems used by the business, making adjustments and improvements as necessary
- Create clear system specifications that describe the software requirements. This would include specifying the data structures, the user interfaces, and the business logic of the system
- Undertake qualitative and quantitative research to identify trends and assist with determining business priorities
- Develop business cases for technology investments, including cost-benefit analyses and return on investment calculations
- Proven experience in leading technical design and execution of high impact, enterprise-wide, strategic ICT programs or initiatives
- Experience in ICT Digital Services, Data Architectures and Cloud
