Role Summary:

Looking for a role where you can make a significant impact? Look no further! We're seeking a talented individual to become our ICT Coordination and Policy Manager.

This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the ICT Engagement and Alignment process, as well as maintaining and improving business-aligned ICT service quality through a constant cycle of agreeing, monitoring, reporting and reviewing ICT service achievement.  This role is focussed on value-adding and providing advice to the wider ICT and Digital Transformation team to drive ICT engagement for service quality.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Understands, qualifies and coordinates business demand for ICT services and their supply requirements in alignment with the strategy and roadmap.
  • Ensures the Service Catalogue is accurate and reflects the current requirements of all ICT services including satellite sites.
  • In conjunction with the ICT Manager, facilitating and maintaining relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, coordinating tenders via TenderLink and identifying the best available vendors to meet the organisational needs
  • Define, review, and continually improve ICT related policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Defines the overall technology risk management policy across the department and defines how technology risks are to be assessed, evaluated and managed in alignment with DevelopmentWA risk management methods
  • Support the ICT Team with building a methodology to support effective project delivery.
  • Support the development of the ICT Disaster Recovery Strategy and provide the bridge between ICT, vendors and the organisational Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, business administration or another related field.
  • Proven experience in ICT service management, demand forecasting, business relationship management.
  • Proven experience in managing and mitigating technology risks.
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated high level leadership and people management experience to drive a positive team culture including the provision of coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to positively influence and motivate others.
  • Comfortable in an environment of uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Strong high level interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills underpinned by a strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, ICT software and tools.
  • Experience in an organisation with similar values and ethics to DevelopmentWA is highly desirable.
