MMA Offshore offers an exciting opportunity for a high-caliber proactive, hands-on ICT Infrastructure Manager to join our Information Services division. Reporting to the ICT General Manager and collaborating with top-tier teams, this role will take charge of the secure design, implementation, and management of the company's ICT assets — including networks, servers, databases, and related technology tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being an active Business Partner to collaborate with key stakeholders to understand operational and project imperatives to address their technology needs.
- Lead the ICT Infrastructure team to ensure infrastructure support and planning meets organisational needs.
- Working with the company’s cyber security team to develop and enforce infrastructure standards and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
- Ensure service requests for applications, software, hardware, network systems, and user administration are managed as per established processes.
- Design, implement and oversee the company’s ICT infrastructure including data centers, network operations, server operations, and connectivity solutions.
- Oversee the support ticketing system, ensuring tickets are addressed by the support team promptly, and escalations are managed effectively.
- Monitor the performance and health of ICT infrastructure components to ensure optimal operation.
- Implement and maintain tools for network traffic analysis, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Manage regular recovery plans, regular system backups and routine patching of infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with the Cyber Security team to ensure infrastructure components are secure from vulnerabilities.
- Ensure that infrastructure and communication systems comply with regulatory and organisational standards.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors for ICT infrastructure consulting, support, and projects.
- Manage allocated budgets for ICT infrastructure spend and ensure cost-effective procurement and deployment of ICT resources.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on ICT infrastructure, projects, service delivery initiatives, risks, and performance.
- Analyse data to assess infrastructure health and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of the ICT Infrastructure team.
- ITIL Certification or relevant experience.
- Relevant Tertiary or Industry Certified qualifications.
- Relevant experience in a similar role (5 years minimum).
- Experience in troubleshooting network environments.
- Experience in remote operating and support technologies.
- Industry certifications and tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
- Experience in using a Configuration Management Database System (CMDB).
- Strong leadership and management skills to guide teams and drive project success.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing infrastructure architecture.
- Technical expertise in:
- Windows Desktops & Servers
- Office 365 administration including Intune and Azure AD
- TCP/IP networking
- Storage Area Networks (SANs)
- OT Systems and Network interfaces to IT
- Security principles
- SDWAN – Palo Alto highly desirable
- Backup technologies
- Deployment technologies
- Software acquisition, disposal, and support.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to enable effective identification and resolution of IT related issues
- Experience in an Active Directory environments
- VMware/Hyper-V/VDI
