Wilson Transformer Company (WTC) is Australia’s largest manufacturer of power and distribution transformer solutions operating two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Melbourne and regional Victoria and service and support offices across Australia. We offer end-to-end transformer solutions, including product specification review, design, manufacture, factory acceptance test, installation, condition monitoring, maintenance and repair services, spare parts and asset disposal.
We have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Support Officer who can support our growing Power Transformer Business Unit. The position will be based in Glen Waverley and may require some travel to our Distribution Transformer Business Unit in Wodonga.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivery of high quality ICT Infrastructure, Network, Systems & Cyber Security support services for the company.
- Providing timely help desk services to internal staff that meet or exceed their expectations.
- Providing support for projects and ensuring that the ICT systems are aligned to deliver the desired outcomes.
- Ensuring the company’s ICT infrastructure (Networks, Servers, Storage, Systems, End-user Computing, Printers, Telephony & Video Conferencing) is maintained with performance, enhancement, security and data integrity (with support from external ICT vendors as needed).
- Supporting all ICT related activities and making recommendations for any improvements to systems, processes, hardware, software and services.
- Assisting with the adoption and compliance to ISO27001 and Essential Eight Controls.
- Managing and monitoring cyber security controls.
Key skills, experience and qualifications include:
- Qualifications in Information Technology.
- At least two (2) years work experience in ICT Corporate and/or Manufacturing Environment.
- Knowledge & experience with any of the following technologies would be highly regarded: Microsoft Enterprise Systems, Windows Servers (virtual & Physical), VMware, Epicor ERP System, Meraki Wi-Fi, Active Directory and Group Policy, Intune, SharePoint, Nimble SAN, Alcatel Telephony System, HP/DELL Servers, Network Switches, Firewalls, Office 365 Administration, Logitech Video Conferencing Systems, Android Smartphones & Tablets, AirWatch MDM, Citrix.
- Knowledge of Network Patching, Firewalls, Routers, Switches and other Networking devices.
- Printer Technology Support.
- Experience working with external vendors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The following experience/qualifications will be well regarded:
- IT Certifications (VMware, MCSE, MCP, CCNA, CCP, CISSP, CISA).
- IT Service Management Certification (ITIL v3/v4 Foundation).
- Lean 6-Sigma Certification (Green Belt or above).
