About this Opportunity
The Rostering Officer is part of a team we call "BlueStar" and you will be responsible for connecting our In Home and Community clients with Support Workers to deliver serivices such as Direct Care and Domestic Assistance.
This is an exciting time to be a part of our "Bluestar Team" as we experience growth and demand in our Community Services.
You will provide support and assistance to BlueStar Clients and Support Workers through on going effective roster allocation and administration. You will develop cost effective staff rosters to ensure client needs are met whilst providing staff with optimum working hours.
The level of support includes, but is not limited to: processing of client's shift requests, client matching, completing shift schedules, liaising with staff to ensure that shifts are filled and supporting administrative tasks.
We are seeking a Rostering/Payroll guru to commit to a 3 month full time contract working at our St Kilda Road office (Russian speaking is highly regarded) - we welcome internal employee applications.
What you will bring
- Previous experience in rostering staff in the community sector is essential
- Your previous work has involved meeting targets for rostered hours and care services
- Demonstrated success in working in response to critical timed outcomes
- You have consistently communicated with a wide variety of stakeholders in your previous roles
- A customer service mindset to meet the needs of the clients
- Respectful and patient communication to clients, support workers and colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and attention to detail
