Role DescriptionBrisbane Adventist College (BAC) is seeking expressions of interest for a suitably qualified ICT Support person. This position is a full-time permanent position starting Monday 8 July 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the College’s system hardware, operating and software systems are effectively and efficiently maintained and operational. They will be solely responsible onsite for the success of the IT services at the College.
Key responsibilities- Provide IT assistance and support to administration and teaching staff and students
- Provide technical support and set up at College events
- Co-ordinate and support the 1:1 school-owned device program in Secondary and Primary laptop trolleys
- Maintain and co-ordinate College laptops and technology devices
- Support and manage College software and services
- Be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff and students and display a high level of interpersonal skills
- IT Administrator experience
- Be highly organised, proactive and self-driven
- Customer service and administration experience is preferable
- Previous experience in an educational institution or similar industry would be an advantage
- Applicant must hold a Current Paid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Applicant must be able to show they have the legal right to work in Australia
