Supagas' state-of-the-art facilities allows us to offer multiple gas types and gas products, as well as run specialised laboratories to mix and test specialty gas.The client is looking to fill a full-time permanent position for a skilled and experienced ICT Systems Support Engineer.
The role will be involved to develop support procedures and strategies for systems, networks, operating systems and applications development, solve problems and provide technical expertise and direction in support of system infrastructure and process improvements, and diagnose and resolve complex system problems.Main Responsibilities
- Resolving any issues related to our infrastructure, both internally hosted and cloud based. This includes things like e-mail, printers, wired and wireless networks, video conferencing, and VPN.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance for live events and video conferences.
- Researching new and innovative solutions to the technical challenges that arise.
- Maintaining our technical facilities to the highest standard through cable management, workstation installations.
- Work on remote desktops, active directory, PBX system, Office365, anti-virus & malware.
- Support Tier1 and Tier2 issues related to hardware and software and applications.
- Support & coordinating IT Projects.
- Sharepoint support.
- Supporting Logistics, Finance, Purchasing and HR systems.
- Android OS Support.
- OS Server Support - Microsoft 2008 R2, 2012 R2.
- Support over 900 internal customers for their technical issues.
- Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time.
- Manage the IT recycling for the organization.
- Manage and set up new hardware following IT policies and procedures.
You will need to possess the following skills and personal attributes:
- A bachelor degree in the related field and at least 3 years' relevant experience
- Experience of Exchange Server 2012, Active Directory.
- Demonstrable knowledge of some or all of the following: Networking, WiFi, Apple, Windows, etc.
- Independent ability to research technical problems and solutions.
- Strong organizational and managerial skills and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Knowledge of all Microsoft OS Platforms, Microsoft Office Suite and M365 (previously O365).
