The Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture Inc. (also known as Foundation House) was founded in 1987 to advance the health, wellbeing and human rights of people of refugee background who have experienced torture or other traumatic events. We have worked with over 100,000 people from more than 70 different communities and are recognised as a national leader in the provision of trauma-informed and trauma-focused service delivery.
Your Impact
We are at an important stage of transitioning from a legacy case management system to a new Client information Management System (CIMS). Your role as the Information Management Training & Support Officer is to provide helpdesk support and training to users in the legacy system in the short term and help them transition to the new CIMS in the medium term. You will assist in enabling them to employ competent and accurate data entry practices and good workflow to support high quality service delivery, data extraction and reporting. You will also develop and maintain Information Management (IM) training materials and will work to support enthusiastic, positive and successful use of the new system by all users, to increase our capacity to provide safe, person-centred, effective and connected care to all clients and communities who engage with Foundation House.
This is a 0.8 - 1 EFT, 12 month fixed term position.
What you'll need
To be successful, you will need to positively respond to the following selection criteria:
- Experience in developing and delivering Training and Supporting users of an electronic system with data entry and workflows.
- Experience with a client management (CMS) or electronic health care healthcare (HER) system - Salesforce experience desirable.
- Some background in processing and working with client data at a basic to intermediate level.
- Solid general software skills including intermediate excel skills.
