Operating for decades, this family-owned business has become experts in shipping services for their niche client base. With a footprint across Europe and Oceania, overseeing shipments of valuable cargo, they are now looking for an experienced Import Coordinator to join their business, working from home full time.
Your new role
In this unique role, your main responsibilities will include:
- Shipment tracking
- Liaising with overseas agents to arrange shipments
- Proactively monitor shipment dates and times, and reporting order statuses to clients
- Processing of import documents through Cargowise
- Liaise with partners to arrange customs and quarantine clearance
- Arranging local transport
- Ensuring sell and buy rates are correct
- Update internal and external customers on ETA
- Communicate regularly with shipping lines
- Monthly profit reporting
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in RoRo (roll-on, roll-off cargo) is a must
- Strong experience in using the Cargowise platform
- Ability and willingness to work autonomously and remotely
- Experiencing liaising with local transport companies
- Knowledge of customs and quarantine processes
- A very proactive approach to your work
What you'll get in return
- Full-time work from home
- $75,000 - $90,000 + Super
- Full-time permanent role
- Laptop and phone provided
