About the Role
- Reporting to the General Counsel, in this role you will provide solution focused, pragmatic and timely legal advice and support on diverse matters including contracts, employment law, intellectual property, real estate matters, compliance, and regulatory issues.
- Draft, review and advise on legal documents, contracts, and agreements with meticulous attention to detail.
- Conduct legal research, interpret and analysis of legislation, to support strategic decision-making and ensure legal compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide proactive legal solutions and support business objectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
About You
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience gained from a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial transactions, and/or employment law.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex legal issues and recommendations clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced small team environment.
Mandatory requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a current unrestricted Queensland Practising Certificate.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
