The Multi Product Sales Team provides a range of equities execution, Investments, lending and cash services to investors, via their Advisers. We sit inside the Bell Financial Group and work alongside Bell Potter Securities, Desktop Broker and Bell Potter Capital.
As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be responsible for the identification of new business opportunities as well as the management of a portfolio of existing financial advisers. Reporting to the Group Head of Sales, your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively sourcing and developing new business from internal and external referral networks
- Ensuring current and prospective clients have a consistent experience through the delivery of outstanding service
- Assisting with the development of presentation and marketing materials for existing and potential clients
- Maintaining an up-to-date CRM and building a continuous pipeline of prospective clients.
Requirements
You have excellent interpersonal skills and proven analytical skills. In addition, to succeed in this role you will have:
- Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities with a successful track record in generating revenue growth
- A good understanding of financial product landscape in Australia including Margin Lending/Structured Products
- Proven ability to successfully balance competing requirements (growth, regulatory, client service, quality)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and customers
- Ability to manage key clients with demonstrated relationship success
- A solid network in the broker and HNW advisory markets will be highly advantageous
- A strong desire to learn and innovate and broaden your skill base
- RG 146 compliant and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.
