About the role
The Learning Support Officer at EDU plays a crucial role in developing and implementing student Learning Support activities. This includes creating online academic resources, delivering workshops, and managing third-party support services.
This full-time, permanent position is based in Sydney or Melbourne and reports to the Librarian.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop online academic skills resources for the LMS
- Maintain the Academic Learning Hub
- Provide academic support workshops
- Promote and manage third-party student assessment feedback services
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace
Education, Experience, and Skills
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree or Postgraduate qualification in Higher Education, TAE, TESOL, or CELTA
- Experience in Learning Support in vocational and/or higher education
- Proficient in developing and delivering workshops and training
- Knowledge of academic integrity systems (APA7, Harvard)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills and LMS content development
- Adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (Higher Education Standards, RTO Standards)
