About you
As part of the Learning Support Team you will assist the classroom teacher in providing a quality education focused on maximising student outcomes, through a holistic, student centred curriculum.
To excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- interest and experience in working with young people with a range of learning needs
- a well developed level of literacy and numeracy
- an interest in the process of learning to read and understanding numeracy
- a cooperative nature and enthusiastic approach to working with young people
- ability to work with children under the supervision of the Learning Support team and classroom teachers, including in practical subjects as required
- experience and confidence in working with COMPASS the Google platform for purposes of NCCD
- an ability to update PPSD by using the one page sign off for initial collaborations
- strong organisational and administrative skills in particular for meeting organisations for parents and teachers
- the ability to update assessment details for YARC, NAPLAN and Assessments
- experience in working collaboratively with school counsellors.
You will have attained:
- an SCS Employee ID Number, by completing the Registration To Work process, or a commitment to complete the registration process.
