INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT - THERAPEUTIC SERVICES

Working with the ACT Group, you will gain:

• Competitive compensation of $92 – $118 per hour, reflecting experience and service years.
• Support through diary management services and up to 12 days of professional development per year.
• The autonomy to operate as an Independent Consultant.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Clinical Services:

• Provide high-quality Therapeutic Services across Out of Home Care, education, and NDIS.
• Conduct assessments; including positive behaviour support plans (PBSP), Education Needs Assessments (ENAs); counselling, report writing, and secondary consultations.
• Collaborate with children, young people, their carers, and support networks to facilitate positive outcomes.

Professional Development and Support:

• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain a commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in all areas of work.
• Support the strategic goal of service growth for 2024.

Essential Requirements:

• Registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Social Worker, Social Worker, Registered Counsellor, Art Therapist, Play Therapist, or Behaviour Support Practitioner (proficient or above).
• Demonstrated experience with vulnerable populations, especially in childhood trauma.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Current ABN or ACN for independent consultancy.
