The Opportunity
We are looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist to roll out a new initiative across our 4 main Arnott’s sites. You will be responsible for managing the project spend through both internal and external stakeholder management and supplier management. This project is a 12 month FTC to enable the delivery of the Arnott’s Effectiveness Improvement Program (AEIP) across both Facilities Management and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations).
The Accountabilities
- Develop and implement category strategy of $32M spend for assigned categories aligned with overall business objectives
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure business objectives.
- Optimize total cost of ownership while maintaining quality and service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies.
- Provide timely reporting and analysis on procurement metrics and activities.
- Analyze market trends and assess & mitigate risks for effective decision-making.
The Ingredients for Success
Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:
- 4yrs + experience in a directly related or similar role
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Ops Management is highly desirable
- Procurement or Commercial negotiating experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in driving and delivering change / projects
- Good stakeholder management (internal & external) and positive influencer of teams with strong communication skill - both written & verbal
